7th – 9th of November, big challanges and hard work
Day 16, 17 and 18 We all are quite tired today. We had 34 degrees and spent most of the day in the sun to do maintenance work on the generator. But the feeling after the physical work is really good after the last days planning, thinking and having meetings. According to our plan we made on the weekend we started the week with meeting Oxy and Kwame, the two electricians of the hospital. After the ice broke, the talk developed really good and at the end everybody was motivated for this week. Afterwards we had our second meeting with Ralph the administrator and had a look at the waste situation and at the incinerator. After all the conversations and impressions on Monday we started to realise better and better which challanges the hospital is facing. But we also know that we cannot solve all these challanges in one day. We need to start with the first step that others can follow. There are some images about our work in the hospital below.
