Almost Finished! Last Steps Towards the Sustainable Kindergarten The winning team made it! In February, the remaining work on the sustainable nursery school was (almost) completed. Karibu Sana! Sustainable nursery school ready to move in Remember when we started in summer last year with nothing but a fundament? Now, not even twelve months later, we are happy to report that the house is nearly finished and the first two groups of kids moved in.

Next construction phase in Tanzania The construction works at the nursery school at Trinity academy in Tanzania are ongoing. Last week, the first classroom and office were almost finished. We are positive that the first group of kids can start learning and playing here within the next months. However, there are still lots of things to do, so please keep donating for this project via betterplace or directly via our TeoG account.

Agroforestry Demonstration Farm in Drobo, Ghana Technology without borders Ghana started an agroforestry demonstration farm together with a school in Drobo. The kids can help there and learn how to grow and harvest vegetables and fruits as well as farm animals. Find out more on the project homepage.
Project completion Ngi’ya Get impressions of our latest project on agroforestry and school gardens in March 2022. The project was a cooperation of Technology without borders and Stawisha Africa. Together, 10 school gardens and a tree nursery could be started.

1° Workshop du projet « Communauté universitaire durable 1° Atelier du projet « Communauté universitaire durable » du Groupe national brésilien pour la production de poubelles et de cendriers pour le campus universitaire de l’Université fédérale de Santa Catarina à Araranguá. L’atelier est la première action du projet visant à rendre le campus plus durable et à mieux faire connaître le travail de Technologie sans frontières sur le campus.

Winta Kesete etudient à Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) nous a accompagné lors de l’avant-dernier voyage en septembre 2017 et rapporte entre autres notre projet sur l’eau.

Après l’achèvement réussi de leur projet Arne et Annika ont fait un rapport le 1.6.2016 sur leurs expériences et leurs histoires de mise en œuvre du projet. L’équipe « Maintenance Support » du RG Erlangen de « Technik ohne Grenzen e.V. » s’est donné pour mission d’aider les hôpitaux du tiers monde dans leurs processus de réparation et de maintenance. Au cours de cette mission, quatre hôpitaux ont été visités et soutenus par des formations, des outils et une aide pratique pour les réparations. L’accent est mis ici sur le transfert de connaissances. Les dysfonctionnements et les défauts de l’équipement pouvaient, pour la plupart, être réparés avec des outils appropriés.

Au printemps 2012 une équipe de Technologie sans frontières a trouvé une solution au problème des déchets à l’hôpital Holy Family de Techiman (Ghana). La formation du personnel de l’hôpital a permis de séparer les ordures. Les plastiques non infectés sont maintenant acheminés vers une entreprise de recyclage; les plastiques infectés (scribes, aiguilles, etc.) sont effectivement incinérés de manière écologique. À cette fin, une usine d’incinération dotée de deux fours à haute performance a été construite.
Klaas Jerit Witte et Hannes Schwessinger se sont rendus à Akuapim, au Ghana, au printemps 2012 et ont mené à bien le projet „L’élimination du plastique dans les écoles du Ghana“.
