Ghana – There and back again
Good Day all english readers of this blog! Thank you for joining me on my second deployment to Ghana. I really dont know about the titel, guess i watched to many movies on the plain plane flying planwise over the plaine of the Sahara. Enough with the pluns – eh puns ^^
This second trip to the country of High Life Music brings me again to the hospitals I visited last time with Sebastian.
I case you tune in just now, in 2015 Sebastian Hofmann and me visited three hospitals here in Ghana (Agroyesum, Agogo and Agomanya) in a mixed operation including the exploration of two of them and installing a dental clinic in Agroyesum.
Annika Fenn will be my new companian. Also from Erlangen, we will visit the hospitals in reverse order from last time with injecting the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman before assembling another dental chair in Agroyesum.
Our Trip began on the 23rd April with the walk from my house to the trainstation. Followed by two trains, a cityhopper, a big plane, multiple flights of stairs, several moving walkways, 3 movies, two meals, a funny passanger, multiple pleasant suprises and the lung crushing experience of getting hit by 100% humid rainy air at 32°C at night.
After a good night sleep in Accra and a healthy breakfast ( and brushing our teeth) we sent of with the administrator of Agomanya to his hospital.
We met many old and some new friends, but more about that tomorrow!!!
