Day 9 and 10
We are very proud of the maintenance team. The preventive maintenance training yesterday developed to a really productive discussion. As Emanuel, Techi and their team actually depeloped their own plan in cooperation with us, they also took responsibility in training the nurses today. As this was done in Twi (the local language here in Techiman) we did not understand what they were telling until we asked Nash for translation. But even before we could see the success of this training.
Furthermore Chris the administrator of the hospital arrived in the beginning of this week. Right after arriving to Techiman he came on Sunday evening to our house to match his goals with ours. As he knows very well were he wants his maintenance department to go, the project is growing very well.
All in all we are quite satisfied about the progress here in Techiman. Tomorrow will be our last whole day here. So now we need to make sure that all important remaining tasks will be done. Also we will have the final meeting with the administrator in the afternoon.
