Update: 13th August – Raise the walls
Work commenced in early in the morning at 7.30 am, for some of us without breakfast.
While Stephan worked with the welder measuring and cutting all the necessary steel parts for the ash tunnels, Arne worked with Gabriel, our technician, on the inner case of the incinerator. The weather was less than ideal but at 2 pm, we reached to 12th of 15 layers of bricks and let them settle for the rest of the day. The metal works took till 6 pm and due to some movement in the bricks we needed to correct some of the parts.
Our welder though is outstanding. His lines are smooth as an agave leave and, by the way, colored like a rainbow ^^
