Update 14. August: Nagging without borders

After the early morning coffee(we start to early to get a real breakfast) we set of for through the morning dew to hospital. Our way is about five minutes and gives a stunning view into the valleys of the Cameroonian Highlands. Our Welders and masons had already arrived and were quickly advised on our further steps.

While one of us stayed at the incinerator the other one went to the welding site. We do not do to much acctual work since our people are the one with skills( oil rig welder, mason for 30 years) therefore our work is making sure everything is done exact and according to plan. We’re looking for errors, wrongly placed hinges, joints between bricks that fall out of line. And then we need to correct that. By, well, pointing out what is going wrong in our opinion, or nagging. Not always taken lightly, mostly important to do and not perfect. We make sure to first kindly ask for the reason and then offer a differnt sugestion. Sometimes small things slip and cause a bit of trouble and need time to be fixed. So far that was all possible.

Tomorrow we will head to Bafoussam for a second, and hopefully last, shopping trip. Our objectives include a cutting disc for bricks, ordinary cement and many many bins!

Stay tuned for more news!
