Summer holidays? TeoG Summer Camp!
Our first summer camp in Bayangam took place in August. Organized by the regional group in Cameroon, more than 30 children were able to take part in ten days of activities focusing on agriculture, medicine, and crafts. These included craft workshops, a first aid course, and a group visit to the market for locally grown fruit and vegetables. Of course, there was also plenty of fun and games as well as sporting activities! The team was supported by Edgar and Rosi from the Rhine-Main regional group and by teachers from the Bayangam kindergarten, where a renovation project was carried out last year. Further improvements are planned for this year. We would like to thank all participants and helpers and are already looking forward to the next summer holidays, when we plan to offer another summer camp with new workshops!Text: Franzi Enzmann
