Recycle Up Day 6: Entrepreneurship & Idea Pitching
The participnts were given a lecture on entrepreneurship. The presentation was given by Mr. James Anyamesem Boachie of Ichieboa Consults. After the presentation, the participants were given ninety minutes to pitch an idea on possible solution to plastic waste problems in the local communities. Brilliant ideas were pitched and both the participants and mentors voted for the best six ideas. The participants and team went for a lunch break at 1:00 pm.
After lunch, an idea fair was organised for the best six ideas was organised where, participants who couldn’t pitch an idea or who’s idea could not make it to the top six would choose an idea there preferred to work on. The mentors also choosed the groups they preferred to mentor. The mentors and their groups had their 1st their interaction.
After super both participants and team watched a blockbuster movie and then went to bed.
